Food tubes are phenomenal! Ever need a tool to teach retrieve
(or a stronger retrieve), scent work, or have more control over a
food, ball or frisbee crazy dog? Try a food tube! This is a great
tool to help in the areas mentioned above or to get a dog not
interested in toys into them! Get a better retrieve, easily teach
scenting and control your rewards with this great training tool.
A slit is in the top of each food tube or the cap is easily removed to
add food, balls, frisbees, toys, etc. that you want to control during a
training exercise. Your dog needs to bring you the tube in
order for you to administer the reward, hence improving your training
relationship. Also great for using as a more controllable lure and
to direct dogs in training exercises. Throw the tube and the item(s)
remains in until you choose to pinch the top/open the top to remove the
reward. Available in 2.75" x 5" Grande (fits a standard tennis ball),
2.75" x 8" Jumbo (fits soft frisbees), 2" x 6" Long, and
2" x 4" Standard. All food tubes have purple colored caps.
